Located in Västerås and Eskilstuna, Sweden, Mälardalen University, known as MDH, is one of Sweden’s largest institutes of higher education. The university has more than 16 000 students studying courses and programs in Business, Health, Engineering, and Education.
At Mälardalen University, research is conducted within all fields of studies to address the challenges of society. Every year, the university offers a specific number of scholarships to students who want to pursue their Master studies and who applied for Mälardalen University as their first choice.
The scholarship is dedicated to qualified students who are required to pay tuition fees and who are coming from countries outside of EU/EEA/Switzerland. Students from the follwing twelve countries are not eligible to apply for this scholarship, they should apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship:
Kenya, Mali, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Bolivia, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Mälardalen University Scholarship value:
The scholarship covers the integrity of tuition fees waiver of the program as long as the candidate is following the normal study plane, which means a minimum of 45 credits per academic year. The scholarship doesn’t cover living costs.
Eligibility requirements:
Applicants must have applied for the Malardalen University as their first choice.
Applicants must apply for admission into any eligible master’s program at Malardalen University for the 2021 academic session.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree obtained in relevant courses from recognized universities.
Applicants must have a strong academic record and leadership abilities.
Applicants must be willing to abide by the rules and regulations governing the conduct of students at the university.
How to apply:
Applicants must first create an account on the university admission in Sweden website www.universityadmissions.se to apply for a Master’s program. Next, apply for the Malardalen University Scholarship and submit the required documents which differ from country to another. Mainly, the required documents are a proof of English language proficiency, ID documents, and Certificates, Diplomas, and Transcript.
