Scholarship Description:

The Radboud Scholarship program is available for Master’s and International Students in the Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands.

  • Fully Funded: 10,800euros – 16,00euros;
  • Partial Funded: 2,168euros.

The Radboud scholarship program is a fully and semi-financed master’s scholarship in the Netherlands. All students who benefit from a full-grant will be exempted from tuition, living and immigration costs, while students who receive a partial grant will benefit from a discount on tuition fees.

This is a very competitive scholarship where programs are offered in English. It is an annual scholarship program, but in order to be awarded this scholarship during the second year of the master’s program, the scholarship holder must successfully complete the courses of the previous year.

Scholarship Benefits:

  • Fully Funding: supports school costs of 16,000 euros and the subsistence expenses of 10,800 euros: according to the IND, the Dutch Immigration and Naturalization Service, for 2021/2022.
  • Partial Funding: Successful students who receive partial awards get a reduction in their education costs to 2,168 euros. As an example: a scholarship winner in 2021/2022 will only have to pay €2,168 in school costs, instead of €16,000.

In addition, full and partial awards will help finance the Visa, Permission to Stay, Health Insurance and Liability Insurance for the duration of residence in the Netherlands: Aon Insurance for Students.

For a two-year program, to be eligible for the scholarship in the second year, students must successfully complete all courses in the first year.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Have a passport from a country outside the EU/EEA;
  • Cannot benefit from the reduced EEA school costs for any reasons;
  • Student must hold and complete a Bachelor’s level degree from another country, must not have a diploma obtained in the Netherlands and must not have previously been trained in the Netherlands;
  • In order to be accepted into the Master’s degree program in English on September 1, 2020, as indicated in the official letter of admission ;
  • Must be qualified to apply for a visa for the Netherlands ;
  • Students registered at Radboud University for the academic year and master’s program during the scholarship period.

Application process:

  • The acceptance request and the scholarship form are th same; no different process for the scholarship is required. Applicants must inform in their application for admission indicating that the fellowship application is for a Radboud scholarship.
  • Students should apply through the OSIRIS Incoming Students online application process no later than March 1, 2020.
