Description

These Cheesy Sausage Party Bites are the ultimate crowd-pleaser! Packed with savory sausage, crispy bacon, and gooey cheddar cheese, they’re perfect for parties, snacks, or a quick breakfast option. Easy to make and bursting with flavor, these bite-sized treats will have everyone asking for seconds.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and diced
  • 6 ounces boxed stuffing mix (or 3 cups homemade stuffing)
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Stuffing
If using boxed stuffing, prepare it according to the package instructions. If using homemade stuffing, ensure it is well-seasoned and moist.
  • Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the ground breakfast sausage, cooked bacon, prepared stuffing, and shredded cheddar cheese. Use your hands or a sturdy spoon to blend everything evenly.
  • Shape into Balls
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a tight ball. Make sure to pack each ball firmly so it holds its shape. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the sausage balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them to allow for even cooking.
  • Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the sausage is fully cooked and the bites are golden brown.
  • Cool and Serve
Let the sausage bites cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: You can roll the sausage balls and refrigerate them for up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Freezing: Freeze uncooked sausage balls on a baking sheet, then transfer them to a freezer bag. Bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
  • Customize the Cheese: Swap out cheddar for mozzarella, pepper jack, or Gouda for a new flavor twist.
