- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika

- Optional: Red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Prepare the Bread Bowl:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

- Place the hollowed bread bowl and its lid on a baking sheet.
- Cook the Seafood Filling:
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until fragrant and translucent.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and cooked through.
- Stir in the crab meat, heavy cream, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Lower the heat and stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Mix in fresh parsley and remove from heat.
- Assemble and Bake:
- Spoon the seafood filling into the hollowed bread bowl, spreading it evenly.
- Place the lid back on the bread bowl and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 5 minutes to toast the top.
- Serve:
- Garnish with more parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve hot with the reserved bread pieces, crackers, or vegetables for dipping.
Notes
- Make It Your Own: Swap shrimp or crab with scallops, lobster, or even a mix of seafood.
- Storage: Wrap leftovers tightly in foil and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
