Description

This Creamy Dreamy Chicken Delight is the perfect blend of juicy, seasoned chicken and a lusciously smooth, cheesy sauce. Made with cream cheese, Parmesan, and aromatic seasonings, this dish is easy to prepare yet tastes like a restaurant-quality meal. Whether you need a quick weeknight dinner or a comforting meal for a special occasion, this one-pan recipe is a must-try!

Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Cream cheese, softened
  • Chicken broth
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add chicken broth and softened cream cheese. Stir continuously until smooth and creamy.
  • Mix in Parmesan cheese, adjusting seasoning as needed. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the seared chicken in a greased baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over it.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  • Let rest for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

    • Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option.
    • For a lighter version, swap full-fat cream cheese with low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt.
    • Add red pepper flakes for a little spice.
    • This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
    • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently on the stovetop.
