Description

This Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub is the ultimate sandwich for a satisfying meal. Packed with tender grilled chicken, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and creamy ranch dressing, all tucked into a toasted sub roll, this sandwich is bursting with flavor. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or game day, it’s easy to make and endlessly customizable.

Ingredients

  • 1 sub sandwich roll
  • 1 cup cooked, chopped chicken (grilled or rotisserie)
  • 23 slices of crispy cooked bacon
  • 23 slices of American or pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 23 lettuce leaves
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced red onions
  • 45 pickle chips
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Bread: Slice the sub roll in half lengthwise. Place both halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • Layer the Ingredients: On the bottom half, layer the grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and cheese slices.
  • Toast the Sandwich: Place the sandwich under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the top half is lightly toasted.
  • Add Fresh Toppings: Remove from the oven and layer lettuce, tomato slices, red onions, and pickles on top. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Drizzle Ranch Dressing: Evenly spread the ranch dressing over the fresh toppings.
  • Assemble and Serve: Place the top half of the roll over the sandwich, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use smoked or peppered bacon.
  • Try different cheeses like cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella for a unique taste.
  • Add jalapeños or sriracha ranch for a spicy twist.
  • If making ahead, store the ingredients separately and assemble just before serving.
  • Swap out the sub roll for a whole wheat bun or lettuce wrap for a healthier version.
