Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups Panko-style bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil or oil spray
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh or dried herbs (parsley or basil)
Instructions
- Prepare the Coating: In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs. In another bowl, mix the bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the Ravioli: Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated, then dredge it in the bread crumb mixture until evenly covered.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease the air fryer basket with oil spray to prevent sticking.
- Arrange and Cook: Place the coated ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the tops lightly with oil. Air fry for 14 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying again with oil. Cook until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve and Enjoy: Sprinkle the toasted ravioli with Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs. Serve hot with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.
Notes
- If using fresh ravioli, reduce the cooking time slightly to prevent overcooking.
- To bake instead of air fry, place the breaded ravioli on a lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Leftover toasted ravioli can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
- For extra crispiness, use Panko bread crumbs instead of regular bread crumbs.
