- Broccoli florets (3 cups, fresh or frozen)
- Heavy cream (2 cups)
- Chicken broth (1 ½ cups)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (1 ½ cups)
- Garlic cloves (4), minced
- Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon)
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Cream cheese (4 oz), cubed
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season and Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Boil Pasta and Broccoli: Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions, adding broccoli during the last 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, then add cubed cream cheese. Whisk until smooth.
- Combine Everything: Stir in Parmesan cheese, then add the cooked pasta, broccoli, and sliced chicken. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve and Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Substitute rotisserie chicken for a quicker meal.
- If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of milk or broth before serving.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheated on the stovetop with a little extra liquid.
