- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

- Add ground beef, ground pork, egg, onion, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined.

- Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the meatballs in batches until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8–10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes to make a roux.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth until smooth. Add cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Return the meatballs to the pan and coat them in the gravy. Simmer for another 3–4 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley, over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.
Notes
- You can use all beef if you don’t have pork.
- Add a splash of soy sauce for deeper umami.
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the cream.
