Description

Creamy, rich, and oh-so-satisfying, this Cream Cheese Chicken Recipe is the ultimate comfort food! Tender chicken breasts are smothered in a luscious cream cheese sauce, seasoned perfectly, and ready in under 30 minutes. It’s a family-favorite you’ll make again and again!

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 oz (½ block) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add chicken broth and deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.

  • Stir in cream cheese, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Add-Ins: Feel free to toss in spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • Low-Carb Option: Serve over cauliflower rice or steamed veggies.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
  • Chicken Cut: You can also use chicken thighs instead of breasts if preferred.
