Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and minced garlic.
- In another bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add the chicken pieces, cooking until browned.
- Add the honey mixture to the pan and stir to coat the chicken.
- Pour the cornstarch slurry into the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the chicken.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
