Description

This Pumpkin Bread is soft, moist, and bursting with warm fall spices! Made with real pumpkin puree and a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, this easy one-bowl recipe is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. Enjoy it on its own or with a spread of butter for a cozy treat that tastes like autumn in every bite!

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk or buttermilk

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.

  • Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  • Cool & Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Add-Ins: Mix in ½ cup chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or raisins for extra flavor.
  • Make It Healthier: Substitute half of the flour with whole wheat flour and use coconut sugar instead of granulated sugar.
  • Storage Tips: Keep at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. It also freezes well for up to 3 months.
  • Serving Suggestions: Enjoy with butter, cream cheese, or a drizzle of honey.
