Description

This Honey Glazed Salmon is a sweet, savory, and perfectly caramelized dish that comes together in just 20 minutes! With a rich honey garlic glaze, this quick and easy salmon recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner or an elegant meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 tablespoon water (if using cornstarch)
  • Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic.

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

  • Flip the salmon and pour the honey glaze over the fillets. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting with the glaze.

  • (Optional) If you prefer a thicker glaze, mix cornstarch with water, add it to the pan, and stir until the sauce thickens.

  • Remove from heat and let the salmon rest for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Substitutions: Swap honey with maple syrup or brown sugar for a different sweetness.
  • Add spice: Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for a spicy kick.
  • Best sides: Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
