Description

This Marry Me Salmon is rich, creamy, and irresistibly delicious—one bite, and you’ll be hooked! With tender, flaky salmon cooked in a luscious garlic parmesan cream sauce with sun-dried tomatoes, this dish is perfect for date nights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown, then remove and set aside.

  • Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.

  • Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes before adding the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.

  • Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the creamy sauce over the fillets. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens and the salmon is fully cooked.

  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make it dairy-free: Use coconut cream instead of heavy cream and nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan.
  • Pairing ideas: Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
