Description
These tender and juicy turkey meatballs are coated in a deliciously sticky honey garlic sauce, making them a perfect dinner or appetizer option. They’re easy to make, full of flavor, and sure to be a family favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions

Make the Meatballs: In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs.

Cook the Meatballs: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned and fully cooked (about 8–10 minutes). Remove and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, add honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer.

Thicken the Sauce: Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another minute until thickened.

Coat the Meatballs: Return the meatballs to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce. Let simmer for a couple of minutes.

Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with extra green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey with chicken or beef.
- For extra spice, add red pepper flakes or sriracha to the sauce.
- These meatballs can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes instead of pan-frying.
