Coated in a rich honey mustard glaze with a hint of garlic and baked until caramelized, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or elegant dinners alike.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon slices for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish or sheet pan with foil or parchment paper.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.

  • Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down if using.

  • Spoon or brush the honey mustard butter mixture evenly over each fillet.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  • For extra caramelization, broil on high for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely to prevent burning.

  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices, and serve warm

Notes

  • You can prep the glaze ahead of time and refrigerate it.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
  • Great served over rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • For a crispier top, broil the last couple of minutes but don’t walk away!
