Description

These Mini Tiramisu Cups are elegant, creamy, and packed with classic coffee and cocoa flavors in a perfectly portioned dessert! No baking needed — just layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and fluffy mascarpone cream. They’re the ultimate make-ahead treat for dinner parties, holidays, or anytime indulgence!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 1215 ladyfinger cookies (cut into pieces if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
  • Chocolate shavings or curls for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

  • In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.

  • In a shallow bowl, combine espresso and coffee liqueur (if using).

  • Quickly dip each piece of ladyfinger into the coffee mixture (do not soak).

  • Layer dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of small dessert cups or jars.

  • Spoon or pipe a layer of the mascarpone cream on top.

  • Repeat layers once more, ending with a final layer of cream.

  • Chill the tiramisu cups in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  • Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and top with chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

  • Use high-quality mascarpone and fresh cream for best texture.
  • Don’t oversoak the ladyfingers — a quick dip is enough.
  • These cups can be made up to 2 days in advance.
  • To make it alcohol-free, simply omit the liqueur.
  • Swap ladyfingers for sponge cake or vanilla wafers if desired.
