Description
Tender chicken breasts are smothered in marinara sauce and bubbling layers of melty mozzarella and Parmesan. This one-dish bake is cheesy comfort at its best!
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

In a skillet, sear chicken in olive oil over medium heat until lightly browned (3–4 minutes per side).

Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Top each breast with marinara sauce and cheeses.

Bake for 20–25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is golden and bubbly.

Garnish and serve with pasta or salad.
