Description

Layers of flaky crescent dough, creamy cheesecake filling, and a cinnamon-sugar topping make these dessert bars an irresistible treat with a Southwestern flair.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Press one can of crescent dough into a greased 9×13 pan.

    • Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over dough.

    • Top with second layer of dough.

    • Pour melted butter over the top, then sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix.

    • Bake 30 minutes. Cool and chill before slicing.

 

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, drizzle with honey after baking.
