Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.

  • Brown patties in oil on both sides, then place in a baking dish.

  • Sauté onions and mushrooms until tender. Stir in soup and broth.

  • Pour over patties and bake for 25–30 minutes.

  • Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
