Description

 

A sweet mash-up of banana bread and cinnamon rolls—this moist loaf is swirled with cinnamon sugar and topped with a gooey glaze. Dessert or breakfast? You decide.


Ingredients

    • Banana Bread:
    • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
    • ½ cup granulated sugar
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Cinnamon Swirl:
    • ⅓ cup brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
    • Glaze:
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • 12 tablespoons milk
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

 


Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

    • Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine bananas, sugars, egg, oil, and vanilla.

    • Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until just combined.

    • Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle cinnamon swirl mixture. Add remaining batter. Swirl with a knife.

    • Bake 50–60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

    • Cool, then drizzle with glaze.
