Creamy, smoky, and indulgent—this chicken carbonara combines crispy bacon, tender chicken, and a silky egg-parmesan sauce for a pasta dish that’s pure comfort.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti; reserve 1 cup pasta water.

  • In a pan, cook bacon until crisp. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

  • Whisk eggs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  • Toss hot pasta with egg mixture, adding reserved water slowly to create a creamy sauce.

  • Stir in chicken and bacon.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

    • Do not return the pasta to heat after adding the eggs or they’ll scramble.
    • Use pancetta instead of bacon for a traditional twist.
