These Italian meatballs are tender, juicy, and loaded with rich flavor. Simmered in a savory tomato sauce and perfect over pasta, in subs, or on their own—these meatballs truly melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, soak breadcrumbs in milk for 2–3 minutes.

Add ground meats, egg, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.

Bake for 18–20 minutes or until browned.

Transfer meatballs to a saucepan with marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.

Serve over pasta, in hoagies, or with crusty bread.
Notes
- Use a cookie scoop for even-sized meatballs.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
