Description
These easy beef bulgogi bowls are loaded with tender marinated beef, fluffy rice, crisp veggies, and bold Korean flavors in every bite.
Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- Cooked white rice, for serving
- Optional toppings: shredded carrots, cucumber, green onion, sesame seeds
Instructions

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, gochujang, garlic, and ginger. Add beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef and onions until caramelized and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.

Serve over rice with desired toppings.
Notes
- Gochujang adds heat, but can be reduced or omitted for a milder version.
- Add a fried egg on top for extra richness.
