Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain grease.

  • Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  • Add beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.

  • Stir in cream and cooked pasta. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Turn off heat and stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted and creamy.

  • Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
