Description
This creamy beef and shells pasta dish is rich, cheesy, and oh-so-satisfying. Think of it as grown-up Hamburger Helper—perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain grease.

Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Add beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in cream and cooked pasta. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Turn off heat and stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted and creamy.

Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
