Description
All the comfort of Swedish meatballs in a rich, creamy sauce—tossed with tender pasta for a cozy one-pan dinner everyone will love.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley, for garnish

In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Roll into small meatballs.

Heat butter in a skillet and brown meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add flour and stir to form a roux. Slowly whisk in beef broth, then add cream and Worcestershire.

Bring to a simmer and return meatballs to the pan. Cook for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and add to the meatball mixture.

Stir to combine and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- You can use ground pork or a mix for more flavor.
- Use sour cream in place of heavy cream for a tangier sauce.
- Make the meatballs ahead and freeze for quick dinners.
