Ingredients

  • 3 lb beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear roast on all sides

    • Place roast in slow cooker and top with onion and garlic

    • Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper

    • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender
