Soft, chewy, and full of cinnamon-sugar goodness, these Snickerdoodle Cookies are a timeless treat perfect for cookie swaps, holidays, or whenever the craving hits.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F

  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy

  • Beat in eggs one at a time

  • Mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt and gradually add to wet ingredients

  • In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for topping

  • Shape dough into balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar

  • Place on baking sheet and bake 8–10 minutes
