Description

Creamy Marry Me Shrimp Pasta is a rich, indulgent dish made with tender shrimp tossed in a sun-dried tomato cream sauce over perfectly cooked pasta. It’s a romantic, restaurant-style meal you can whip up at home in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley or basil, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and sun-dried tomatoes for 1–2 minutes.

  • Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle boil.

  • Reduce heat and add parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.

  • Return shrimp to the skillet, then add the cooked pasta and toss to combine.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the smoothest sauce
  • You can substitute chicken for shrimp if desired
