Description

Delicate, soft cookies with a tender crumb and sweet almond glaze. These melt-in-your-mouth cookies are simple yet irresistibly elegant.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (for glaze)
  • Sliced almonds for garnish

Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Cream butter, powdered sugar, and almond extract until fluffy.

    • Mix in flour, cornstarch, and salt until a soft dough forms.

    • Roll dough into balls and slightly flatten on a lined baking sheet.

    • Bake for 9–11 minutes. Let cool.

    • Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cookies. Top with sliced almonds.
