Juicy seared steak topped with a rich, spicy Cajun shrimp cream sauce—this surf-and-turf combo brings restaurant-quality flavor to your dinner table.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Season steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear steaks to desired doneness. Set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté shrimp with Cajun seasoning until pink.

  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer until slightly thickened.

  • Spoon sauce and shrimp over steaks. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning for more or less heat. Serve with mashed potatoes or garlic butter pasta.
