Fresh, fast, and flavor-packed, these Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps are loaded with savory ground chicken, crunchy veggies, and a sweet-salty sauce for the perfect low-carb bite.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- ¼ cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce (optional)
- 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Butter or Bibb lettuce leaves, for serving
- Chopped peanuts and extra green onions, for garnish
Instructions

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5–6 minutes.

Stir in onion, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until fragrant and softened.

Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha. Stir to coat the meat evenly.

Stir in water chestnuts and green onions. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves and garnish with peanuts and more green onions.
