Description

This Herb Butter Beef Tenderloin Roast is melt-in-your-mouth tender and coated in a luscious, aromatic herb butter that’s perfect for a special holiday meal or any elegant dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole beef tenderloin, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).

    • In a bowl, combine butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, mustard, salt, and pepper.

    • Rub mixture all over the tenderloin.

    • Place beef on a roasting rack and roast for 25–30 minutes for medium-rare.

    • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
