Ingredients
- 4 medium zucchini, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half the zucchini slices.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Top with half of the crushed tomatoes, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Repeat the layers.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and cheese is golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
