This low-carb twist on Mongolian beef features ground beef and sautéed cabbage in a savory, slightly sweet sauce for a fast, keto-friendly meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar substitute
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar substitute, vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

  • Add shredded cabbage and cook until tender, about 5–7 minutes.

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
