Description

These flavorful ground beef lettuce wraps are a quick, low-carb dinner packed with Asian-inspired flavors, fresh veggies, and a satisfying crunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 head butter or romaine lettuce

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.

  • Add ground beef, garlic, ginger, and onion. Cook until beef is browned.

  • Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha.

  • Add chopped water chestnuts and cook for 2 more minutes.

  • Remove from heat and mix in green onions.

  • Spoon beef mixture into lettuce leaves and serve immediately.
