Description
This easy beef stir fry is bursting with savory-sweet flavor and crunchy vegetables, all tossed in a quick homemade sauce. Ready in under 30 minutes for the perfect weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions

Toss beef with 2 tablespoons soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok or skillet. Stir-fry beef until browned, 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Add remaining oil and stir-fry vegetables for 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender.

Add garlic and ginger; stir for 30 seconds.

Return beef to pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.

Stir well and cook for 2 more minutes. Serve hot over rice.

- Use pre-cut stir-fry vegetables to save time.
- Add chili flakes or sriracha for a spicy version.
- Can be made gluten-free with tamari instead of soy sauce.
