This easy French toast casserole is soft, cinnamon-sweet, and perfect for breakfast or brunch—make it ahead for a stress-free morning.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread, cubed
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Instructions

Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Add bread cubes and gently toss. Pour into dish and let soak for 30 minutes or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and set.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve with syrup.
