Description
A refreshing drink made with cucumbers and mint, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
- 2 medium cucumbers, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, packed
- 1/4 cup lime juice (about 2–3 limes)
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Mint sprigs and cucumber slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped cucumbers, mint leaves, lime juice, and honey. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp. Use a spatula to press down and extract as much liquid as possible.
- Add the cold water to the pitcher and stir well to combine.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve over ice cubes in glasses, garnished with mint sprigs and cucumber slices.
Notes
- For a sparkling twist, replace half of the cold water with sparkling water.
- To make it a refreshing cocktail, add a splash of gin or vodka per glass before serving.
