Description
A refreshing and flavorful Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea recipe that combines the aromatic notes of Earl Grey with the sweetness of cherry juice.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves (or 2 tea bags)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup cherry juice (unsweetened)
- 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Fresh cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes for a strong flavor.
- Strain the tea into a large pitcher, discarding the leaves or tea bags. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- Once the tea has cooled, stir in the cherry juice, honey (or sweetener), and vanilla extract until well combined.
- If serving cold, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cherry Earl Grey mixture over the ice. If serving warm, simply pour the mixture into mugs.
- Top each serving with milk, adjusting the amount to your taste preference. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with fresh cherries if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, use whole milk or a rich non-dairy alternative like coconut milk.
- Experiment with different fruit juices, such as raspberry or pomegranate, for a unique twist on the flavor.
