Description

A refreshing and flavorful Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea recipe that combines the aromatic notes of Earl Grey with the sweetness of cherry juice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves (or 2 tea bags)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup cherry juice (unsweetened)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Fresh cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes for a strong flavor.
  2. Strain the tea into a large pitcher, discarding the leaves or tea bags. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  3. Once the tea has cooled, stir in the cherry juice, honey (or sweetener), and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. If serving cold, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cherry Earl Grey mixture over the ice. If serving warm, simply pour the mixture into mugs.
  5. Top each serving with milk, adjusting the amount to your taste preference. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Garnish with fresh cherries if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, use whole milk or a rich non-dairy alternative like coconut milk.
  • Experiment with different fruit juices, such as raspberry or pomegranate, for a unique twist on the flavor.
