Description
A refreshing summer treat combining cold brew coffee with a light strawberry foam.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cold brew coffee
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey (or to taste)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and honey. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse the blender a few times instead of blending completely. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract using an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
- Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream until well combined, creating a light pink foam.
- Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour cold brew coffee over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
- Spoon the strawberry foam on top of the cold brew coffee, dividing it evenly between the two glasses.
- Serve immediately with a straw or a spoon, and enjoy your refreshing drink!
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use a non-dairy milk for the cold brew.
- Add a splash of almond or chocolate syrup to the cold brew for an extra layer of flavor.
