Description
Garlic Butter Steak Bites are tender pieces of sirloin steak cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter mixture to coat evenly. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak in a mixture of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve the steak bites over a bed of mashed potatoes or with a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
