Description
Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are a flavor-packed delight featuring tender chicken cubes marinated in spices and served with a creamy, spicy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 8 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if using wooden)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the skewers with the bang bang sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
- You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini to the skewers for added flavor and nutrition.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, increase the amount of sriracha in the sauce.
