Description

Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are a flavor-packed delight featuring tender chicken cubes marinated in spices and served with a creamy, spicy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 8 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if using wooden)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  5. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl.
  6. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve the skewers with the bang bang sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
  • You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini to the skewers for added flavor and nutrition.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, increase the amount of sriracha in the sauce.
