A quick and easy Chicken Parmesan Casserole that the whole family will love, combining pasta, chicken, and cheese in a delicious baked dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rotini pasta
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rotini pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top of the pasta mixture.
  5. If using, mix the breadcrumbs with olive oil and sprinkle them over the cheese layer for added crunch.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.
