Description
A refreshing and hydrating mocktail made with watermelon, mint, and lime, perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot day.
Ingredients
- 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- 2 cups sparkling water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
- Stir in the fresh mint leaves and honey or agave syrup, if using. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the watermelon mint mixture over the ice. Garnish with additional mint leaves.
Notes
- For a fun twist, add a splash of coconut water for extra hydration and flavor.
- If you prefer a slushier drink, blend the watermelon with ice instead of serving it over ice.
