Description
A refreshing and delightful dessert made with layers of fresh berries, vanilla pudding, and ladyfinger cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 cups vanilla pudding (prepared)
- 2 cups whipped topping (thawed)
- 12 individual cups of ladyfinger cookies (or 1 package)
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, gently combine the sliced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Set aside.
- In another bowl, fold the whipped topping into the prepared vanilla pudding until well blended.
- In each serving cup or small glass, layer the ingredients starting with a layer of ladyfinger cookies at the bottom.
- Add a layer of the pudding mixture over the cookies, followed by a layer of mixed berries.
- Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with a layer of whipped topping and a few berries on top for decoration.
- Chill the trifles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Garnish with mint leaves if desired before serving.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free ladyfinger cookies or substitute with crushed gluten-free granola.
- Experiment with different fruits like peaches or bananas for a seasonal twist, or add a layer of chocolate pudding for a chocolate berry trifle.
