Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup assorted fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, etc.)
- 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large pizza pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly onto the prepared pizza pan, smoothing it out to the edges.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- Once cooled, spread the whipped cream evenly over the cookie base.
- Arrange the assorted fresh fruit on top of the whipped cream in a decorative pattern.
- Slice into wedges and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, drizzle melted chocolate over the fruit before serving.
- You can also substitute the whipped cream with yogurt for a lighter option.
