A delicious and easy-to-make layered taco bake that combines all your favorite taco ingredients in a single dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 package tortilla chips
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced olives
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and refried beans to the skillet, mixing well.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips, followed by the beef mixture, salsa, and half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining tortilla chips, beef mixture, and cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and olives before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize with your favorite taco toppings.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with black beans or lentils.
