A delicious and easy recipe for Honey Mustard Baked Salmon that combines sweet and tangy flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the honey mustard mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the honey mustard mixture.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
