Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Thai Chicken Bites, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough cooking oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
  4. Once hot, add the chicken bites in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  5. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove the chicken bites from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha to the mixture.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or pork for the chicken for a different flavor profile.
  • Serve with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping or over a bed of lettuce for a fresh twist.
